By: Dawn Temple, Lorinda Peake & Terri Rich

Woo-Hoo! The three of us are Snoopy dancing and throwing confetti in celebration of our friend and blog mate’s success. While enjoying celebratory mimosas, Sandra let us come along for the momentous moment of pushing the PUBLISH button on not just one, but TWO novellas.

The purpose of WoC was to hold each other accountable towards our goal of self-publishing, or suffer the consequences – an ice bucket dunking. One of the four of us has never been dunked! She has blazed the trail the rest of us will follow.

Congratulations Sandra on the Publication of Promise House: Caroline and Promise House: Ruth.

Terri Rich

Terri Richison (writing as Terri Rich) lives in Clear Lake City, TX with her husband and a giant Great Dane (giant even by Great Dane standards). She is working on self-publishing women’s fiction and avoiding getting a pie in the face if she doesn’t produce pages for every critique session! PIES OR PAGES! Terri started telling stories almost as soon as she could talk – she learned everything she needed to know about storytelling at her grandmother’s knee. Craft however, is something she is still learning – those damn commas give me nightmares!

    1. AMN – Did you notice that we “borrowed” your Snoopy dance? Somehow it just seemed appropriate.

  1. Congratulations on your friends big moment. I know how hard all of you ladies work and I patiently await for more of y’all to publish or ill pour the Damn ice water on yall my self.

  2. Hey, thanks, all!

I promise: I was totally excited (and scared) to be clicking the “Save and Publish” button, but I had a toothache at the time and it was heading fast toward my bedtime…

And I want to say a big THANK YOU! to everybody who jumped out there and bought these first two novellas. They’re a step in a very different direction for me, so my heart is in my throat on these.

I’m really looking forward to the next goal because I KNOW Terri, Dawn, and Lorinda will make theirs and join The Dry Team!

  3. Yep, bought my two copies and the reviews are forthcoming. Can’t wait until three and four go live. What an exciting time!

  4. “Promise House is a refuse” (supposed to say – refuge) Geez Louise when I make typos, I don’t’ play. How great is it that mistake is ALL four reviews. – SUPER SWELL.

      1. Well, if there is anything Freudian about my slip up, it’s that my editing is for shit, and not anything else.
