Sandra has been writing one thing or another since she could scribble stories on a Big Chief tablet. After years working in the software industry as a technical writer and product manager, she took a chance, quit her job, and began writing romantic action-adventure for the unfortunately short-lived Silhouette Bombshell line, where her books garnered 4- and 4.5-star reviews and her first published novel, The Orchid Hunter, was awarded a Romantic Times Top Pick.
Now happily following the impulses of her independent muses, she writes in the action-adventure, urban fantasy, and sweet historical genres, and has promised herself she will actually get these varied books into print, one way or another.
Her first foray into indie publishing is the 1950’s period Promise House novella series, which explores the relationships and adventures of four young women in the midst of life transitions – sometimes sweet, sometimes painful, but always fulfilling.
Sandra lives in southeast Texas with her debonair partner and a trio of cats, all of whom remind her of the joys of living in the moment.

Sandra K. Moore has been writing one thing or another since she could scribble on a Big Chief tablet. A former Silhouette Bombshell author, Sandra has given up (temporarily) the kickass heroine and is now writing from her softer side for the self-published Promise House series. This novella quartet explores the journeys of four young women finding their way — and remaining true to themselves — through the social expectations and turmoil of 1950’s Houston.
